Enjoying My Soak in the Bathtub
Am I getting old or what? 25 and getting more addicted to lazing in the bathtub in the evenings to relax. It’s not as if I have a high stress job, and there are no kids or drunken husband to deal with. It’s just that I seem to have found my own space, my own haven, which is detached from the rest of the world.
Today I have been wondering how I can enhance my bath time soak even further. It was interesting looking around at the lighting in the hardware store, as lighting definitely affects my mood. Even dimmer switches would help; but I also like candles in the bathroom.
It was the bath caddies that set my imagination going most. There was a high quality chrome bathtub caddy that caught my eye. It was hand polished and very high quality and went like a dream with my other bathroom decor and accessories. However, what hit me the most was the bath book rest attachment that you could buy as an optional extra. Reading in the bath is not something I had got into before, but thinking about it, reading in the tub is really something I could do with some pleasure.
I put the bathtub caddy in my basket, and then a rack of kid themed bath towels caught my eye. Yes, I have no kids, but it’s my darling nieces birthday coming up next week, and she just loves Barbie and Disney things. This rack of kids bath towels had nothing but her favorites, so was obviously set up just to catch my eye at the right time.
I left the store a very satisfied customer.
