We Always Recommend a Good Paver Sealer
A a landscape contractor, I always recommend to my customers the best options possible to help them get the most out of their landscape designs. One service that is very popular among homeowners is brick paver designs. These can be used for walkways, driveways, patios, and retaining walls. A brick paver design or structure can be as complex and decorative as the home owner’s imagination. Some designs can get up into the tens of thousand of dollars and or pretty elaborate layouts. The good thing about landscape brick is that when it is maintained and sealed with a good paver sealer, it can last for many years. It is really all about the placement and the proper installation. The ground must be stable and level and the brick must be laid a certain way so that movement is limited. A sand is used as a joint lock that ties all the bricks together creating a solid surface. When done correctly a car can be driven no the bricks regularly. We have designed many driveways out of landscape bricks. After finishing a job for a customer we always recommend they have the bricks sealed with a quality paver sealer to lock them in place even more and to protect them from the outside elements. A paver sealer that is designed especially for brick pavers will solidify the joints and create a protective barrier over the bricks that will be impossible for moisture to penetrate and will also lock out the fading effects of the sun’s harmful rays.
